SENIOR LECTURER / TUTOR (MAKE-UP BEAUTY & FASHION)
POSITION: Senior Make-Up Artist / Tutor / Lecturer
The Central School of Make-Up is looking for an experienced Make-Up Artist and Educator/Assesor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual to join a fun, hardworking team at an Independent School with an excellent reputation.
The ideal candidate would have a background as a Make-Up Artist working across industries in Beauty, Bridal, Fashion, and Film. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a qualification in teaching and/or assessing - although we are open to candidates with experience who are looking to add these at a later stage.
The successful applicant will be responsible for training professional hair & makeup artists; delivering course curriculum for an Industry Awarding Body and hosting specialist Masterclasses or Workshops developed in-house by the School.
The individual will work alongside our existing team of lecturers to train students in traditional and classical hair styling techniques; in fashion and creative, adornments and settings, and Bridal (Traditional and Asiana). Provide support and coaching for portfolio shoots; and mentor students to develop their creative eye to harmonize the overall look of Hair and Makeup in their work.

The role is on a freelance basis for Intensive Full-Time and Part-Time courses, further enabling the successful applicant to continue session work within the industry or other freelance work in the industry.
Experience Beauty, Fashion or Media Hair: 2 Years + (Preferred)
Industry Qualification with a minimum of 1 year of training across make-up disciplines. Teaching/Training : 2 Years (Preferred)
Active Freelance Portfolio: Preferred
Hairdressing: Preferred but not essential
