Full-Time Professional Hair & Makeup Training (3 Weeks)

This intensive three-week course combines our 5-Day Diploma in Hair Styling with the 2-Week Foundation Certificate in Makeup Artistry. It offers comprehensive training in makeup artistry, dressing hair, client care and essential freelance business skills.

Day, Evening & Occasion Makeup

• Day makeup techniques
• Evening makeup techniques

• Soft glam

• Spotlight / halo eye
• Vintage makeup
• Bridal makeup

Eyes, Brows & Lashes

• Application and blending of eye makeup
• Application of eyeliners (liquid, cake, crayon and kohl)
• Eyebrow shaping
• Application of false eyelashes (individual & strip)

Professional Practice

• Client consultation techniques
• Building your professional makeup kit
• Freelance business advice

• Plaits: three-strand & fishtail
• Sectioning
• Basic blow drying
• Advanced blow drying (root lift and curl)
• Roller setting & root movement theory
• Pin and rag curl sets

Styling & Creative Work

• Editorial ponytails
• Tonging & electrical curling
• Finishing & texturising
• Twisting and pinning
• Up-styling
• Dressing long hair: chignon, French pleat, classic bun
• Backcombing & brushing
• Finger waves (vintage techniques)
• Victory rolls

This course does not include hair cutting or colouring.
